Students may apply for admission to the MS Computer Networking degree through either the Department of Computer Science or the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, and GRE general test.
Students who do not have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering are required to take the following courses before they apply:
- Three semesters of calculus
- One semester of probability/statistics
- Two semesters of an object-oriented language
- Data structures
- One semester of computer organization
- One semester of signals and systems or discrete mathematics.
